Reaching out for help takes courage and a desire for change. I became a therapist because I believe in the power of hope to guide us forward. It is an honor to hear your thoughts, goals, and challenges as we work together to build trust and renew hope.
I focus on creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and safe. Therapy shouldn’t feel rigid or overwhelming—my approach is supportive, casual, and deeply collaborative. In our sessions, we will start exactly where you are and work toward where you want to be.
By combining evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR with neuroscience-informed coping skills, we will discover your hidden strengths and work toward healthier ways of managing life's complexities. Together, we will practice concrete tools to calm the fight-or-flight response, rewire neural pathways, and increase emotional regulation.
Because therapy is never one-size-fits-all, my style is eclectic. I love incorporating creative, developmentally appropriate tools like art, play, self-compassion, and gratitude into my practice. Whether you are navigating the effects of trauma, grief, anxiety, ADHD, or depression, I provide tailored support that honors your unique story. I specialize in working with women, children, adolescents, and young adults.

Cochran & Cochran
Growing up in today’s world is tough, and traditional "talk therapy" isn't always the best fit for developing minds. Children and teens don't always have the words to describe how they feel—but their behavior and nervous system will show us.
When working with younger clients, I translate complex brain science into fun, accessible, and interactive tools. Here are some of the ways I work:
Play & Art-Based Therapy: I use creative expression to process heavy emotions safely without putting them on the spot.
Youth-Friendly Neuroscience: I teach kids about the "upstairs brain" and the "downstairs brain," as well as how to spot their own "fight-or-flight" responses so they feel in control of their bodies.
Tangible Coping Skills: We will practice concrete tools to engage their "thinking brain" during school anxiety, ADHD meltdowns, or depression.
Collaborative Care: I partner closely with parents and caregivers to provide insights and consistency in strategies while maintaining their confidentiality.
